Just came back from chalet, fun stuff. Big thanks to CJ who helped organise everything, to Chris for cooking a few meals, and to everyone who helped out and made it fun! (: DMAT \o/

I'm coughing like mad, i should see a doctor soon. Hahaha.

OH! The movie From Paris With Love is nice! Action movie (don't be deceived by the title, we were. lol.) and the plot unfolds very nicely. M18, with quite a few vulgarities which was the only boo, but other than that it was nice!

met Khoo after that, and we went to watch "Where Got Ghost?" at plaza sing. Not scary, just shocking at certain parts cos some things just pop up very randomly and unexpectedly. haha.
Perry came along after that, then we went to Yamaha to play the pianos.
went to Secret Recipe after that, and had dinner with them and Luke, Ong and Martin.

today was not bad, i guess. ONOW in the morning, watched a movie which i thought was pretty nice. had break after that, where i got my free balloon then had it stolen from me. i left it floating on the ceiling cos i didnt tie it to anything. then this guy just came up and took it without asking whose it was. took me awhile to realise it was mine, then i was like "EH THE GUY TOOK MY BALLOON!". man. =/
but oh well. life goes on without balloons. though sucking the helium would've been fun. haha.
Audrey finally came back after being sick for a whole wk. had music theory after that, and didnt do much.
collected my bass after sch with MinJia (who also went to collect her guitar), Chris and Stanly. had dinner, then went back.

fighting things that you didnt know

today was pretty alright. school was as per normal. ( but then again,no day is actually normal in DMAT. haha.).
had maths retest after school. i think i'll fair better this time, but still not getting too high hopes. hahaha.

oh yes. didn't blog yesterday so didnt get the chance to share this. i got my new guitar yesterday :D i decided to settle for the Gibson SG Standard. when it was taken out of the room, a few people were like "whoaaaaaa! Gibson SG!" lol... shiok sia the feeling. not cocky kind of shiok la (like someone we all in DMAT know -.-), but the shiok as in you know you're gonna get smth good. haha.

i'm waiting for my effects pedals to be returned to me, i wanna jam with my new guit ):

been thinking quite a fair bit today, although i dont think i really showed it.

on the bright side, i'm closing in on a new electric guitar.
a Gibson Les Paul Standard 2008.
tried it out. the sound was beautiful.
still checking it out on the net though. we'll see.
also taking a look at the Gibson SG Standard. not bad too, and a lot cheaper.
amazing slash of price thanks to the Great Singapore Sale. can shave off up to $2000++. i got a major shock.
hopefully will get it soon. i got till Sunday.
thanks to those who accompanied me, helped me keep my mind off things for a fair bit. appreciate the help, esp to Chris who gave a lot of good advise. (not you Christian, if you're reading this. lol... but thank you and Shaun for coming along too.)

am in a super reflective mood now. but i shall resist the urge to just blurt out everything here. i really guess this is really better left unsaid.

hahaha, today was awesome. :D
met shaun, lucas, ben and (eventually) chris at admiralty macs. ate, went to bugis and met Sab and the rest. went for the gig after that. place was so small and stuffy =/ it was worse on stage because of the stage lights. plus i was playing drums, which didnt help either. i was sweating like mad by the time the gig was over. haha but oh well had fun. :D
best part is, after our performance, most of us left, and the event had some like, competition through voting system. and guess what? without our friends voting, we still won! LOL. Super shocked, i thought that they'd like, support their own bands and all. hahaha. but oh well. :D
went to Vivo with a few others after that, went to Superdog to eat. was so hungry i ate one meal plus another hot dog =x i recently been eating too much man...
but oh well. today was a fun day. (:

haha, today's been not bad for me. didnt have keys in the morning so i didnt need to report to sch so early. had a not bad day in sch today, and after sch had STAR training which was honestly quite boring. =/
after the training, went to rehearse for the gig. hmm. sounds better, but we decided to change two songs. another late rehearsal tmr. we'll see how that one goes. but if we work hard we'll do well. heh.
just got back, found out again that tomorrow no keys. i got a super long break tomorrow then, since keys lesson is like right after lunch break. O.O power... wonder what i'm gonna do. stone to boredom. haha. oh well.

there's more to it than what meets the eye...

haha. today was a long day.
started sch at 8.30. Geoff wanted to spend an hour on revision for REMT test, but he ended up taking 3 hours. he then released us for 20 min break before realising that he had no time left to continue his practical after we came back. so oh well to that. hahaha. he still has a lot of interesting stories. also found out that we didn't have a paper today during lecture. some study so hard just for the paper sia. haha. pity them...
after sch went to Chris' house to practice song for the Keele farewell. went well, i must say.
went for rehearsal for sunday's gig with the other band after that. the studio was horrible D= the equipment was bad, the room smelt like moth balls. bah. i got a lil headache after coming out. (sis rubbed my head upon reading this O.O lol...)
came home after that, then decided to slack the rest of the evening away. well, not as if there was much of it left anyway. hahaha.
looking forward to tomorrow, can see all my classmates again! i love sch mainly because of them. heh. :D

went to sent the church guitar after school for servicing. Chris tagged along (thanks) and we spent the rest of the afternoon playing free demo games at Funan, and just walking around. haha.

then after that we went to Gramacy (or however you spell) to find scores. haha.

Chris and Grace left, had dinner with Miao, Junqi and Leo. Almost forgot about the meeting i was supposed to be at, thankfully remembered in time and could afford to leave after dinner.
met at about 7.30, ended around 9.45?? yeah. just reached home and washed up. its 11:40 now. haha.
