didnt use my mc today, i'm feeling better anw. :D
though i couldn't eat a lot and drink a lot due to my health... (thanks for reminding me arh, ah Miao and JunQi! D: )
oh well. didn't really do much today at sch. practical as per normal. i'm serious when i say my piece sounds like some funny retro action movie. hahaha! all who heard agreed xD
after sch went to Chris' place he teach me guitar. new guitar teacher woots! thanks man. :D
hmm. nothing much after that. oh well.
audition for DMIT talent time is tomorrow! shoot. i cant bring my acoustic like i wanted. ): guess i'll have to make do with just the voice. oh well. haha. joined just for fun anyway. xD

today was not bad, i guess. ONOW in the morning, watched a movie which i thought was pretty nice. had break after that, where i got my free balloon then had it stolen from me. i left it floating on the ceiling cos i didnt tie it to anything. then this guy just came up and took it without asking whose it was. took me awhile to realise it was mine, then i was like "EH THE GUY TOOK MY BALLOON!". man. =/
but oh well. life goes on without balloons. though sucking the helium would've been fun. haha.
Audrey finally came back after being sick for a whole wk. had music theory after that, and didnt do much.
collected my bass after sch with MinJia (who also went to collect her guitar), Chris and Stanly. had dinner, then went back.
nothing really eventful, just that i found out how much i need to train my left hand fingers after playing my guitar. weak weak weak ):

fighting things that you didnt know
its better if i see it through your eyes
with all these thoughts locked inside...
today was pretty alright. school was as per normal. ( but then again,no day is actually normal in DMAT. haha.).
had maths retest after school. i think i'll fair better this time, but still not getting too high hopes. hahaha.
oh yes. didn't blog yesterday so didnt get the chance to share this. i got my new guitar yesterday :D i decided to settle for the Gibson SG Standard. when it was taken out of the room, a few people were like "whoaaaaaa! Gibson SG!" lol... shiok sia the feeling. not cocky kind of shiok la (like someone we all in DMAT know -.-), but the shiok as in you know you're gonna get smth good. haha.
i'm waiting for my effects pedals to be returned to me, i wanna jam with my new guit ):
that's all i guess.
wonder if keys is gonna be cancelled at the last moment again tmr. O.O oh well.

things are getting so complicated...
been thinking quite a fair bit today, although i dont think i really showed it.
but what's in my head shall stay in my head.
some things are better left unsaid, after all.
but things are getting complicated.

on the bright side, i'm closing in on a new electric guitar.
a Gibson Les Paul Standard 2008.
tried it out. the sound was beautiful.
still checking it out on the net though. we'll see.
also taking a look at the Gibson SG Standard. not bad too, and a lot cheaper.
amazing slash of price thanks to the Great Singapore Sale. can shave off up to $2000++. i got a major shock.
hopefully will get it soon. i got till Sunday.
thanks to those who accompanied me, helped me keep my mind off things for a fair bit. appreciate the help, esp to Chris who gave a lot of good advise. (not you Christian, if you're reading this. lol... but thank you and Shaun for coming along too.)
am in a super reflective mood now. but i shall resist the urge to just blurt out everything here. i really guess this is really better left unsaid.

hahaha, today was awesome. :D
met shaun, lucas, ben and (eventually) chris at admiralty macs. ate, went to bugis and met Sab and the rest. went for the gig after that. place was so small and stuffy =/ it was worse on stage because of the stage lights. plus i was playing drums, which didnt help either. i was sweating like mad by the time the gig was over. haha but oh well had fun. :D
best part is, after our performance, most of us left, and the event had some like, competition through voting system. and guess what? without our friends voting, we still won! LOL. Super shocked, i thought that they'd like, support their own bands and all. hahaha. but oh well. :D
went to Vivo with a few others after that, went to Superdog to eat. was so hungry i ate one meal plus another hot dog =x i recently been eating too much man...
but oh well. today was a fun day. (:

haha, today's been not bad for me. didnt have keys in the morning so i didnt need to report to sch so early. had a not bad day in sch today, and after sch had STAR training which was honestly quite boring. =/
after the training, went to rehearse for the gig. hmm. sounds better, but we decided to change two songs. another late rehearsal tmr. we'll see how that one goes. but if we work hard we'll do well. heh.
just got back, found out again that tomorrow no keys. i got a super long break tomorrow then, since keys lesson is like right after lunch break. O.O power... wonder what i'm gonna do. stone to boredom. haha. oh well.
overall today was quite alright. better, at least. haha.

there's more to it than what meets the eye...
haha. today was a long day.
started sch at 8.30. Geoff wanted to spend an hour on revision for REMT test, but he ended up taking 3 hours. he then released us for 20 min break before realising that he had no time left to continue his practical after we came back. so oh well to that. hahaha. he still has a lot of interesting stories. also found out that we didn't have a paper today during lecture. some study so hard just for the paper sia. haha. pity them...
after sch went to Chris' house to practice song for the Keele farewell. went well, i must say.
went for rehearsal for sunday's gig with the other band after that. the studio was horrible D= the equipment was bad, the room smelt like moth balls. bah. i got a lil headache after coming out. (sis rubbed my head upon reading this O.O lol...)
came home after that, then decided to slack the rest of the evening away. well, not as if there was much of it left anyway. hahaha.
looking forward to tomorrow, can see all my classmates again! i love sch mainly because of them. heh. :D

haha. today was not bad. piano lesson in the morning, then went down to sch for lunch and lesson. wasn't so bad today. but here's the shocker: I PASSED MATH. O.O like, what... i was so expecting a bad fail. whoo. will have to take retest though cos i didnt get above 60 but oh well. try again. (:
went with shirlyn, sandy, miao and chris to Moss Burger at clementi after that. as usual, eat a lot again. D: i need to exercise badly, me and Chris do a few jumps we tired liao. hahaha.
went to prayer meeting after that where i played drums. i drop a drumstick twice because i wasn't used to the electronic drums set up, and once was during a fast song. gosh, thank goodness managed to cover up and quickly pick up. =x
came home after that. tired now, think i'll go off soon. waking up early tomorrow. hahaha.

today was rather alright. didnt have keys so i only had to go at 9.30 for theory. "watched" (note the inverted commas) a few ppl present their slides, and then got released for break. after break was MIDI. all ended at 3.
went for improv class after that. jammed and had fun, then went over to church for prayer mtg. went home after that.
hmm. thought about some stuff the whole day, even though i know i shouldnt be. i dont know. what's behind me should stay behind me. but i keep looking back... i should stop. grah.

today was pretty much alright. REMT in the morning, didnt really do much during practical. learnt about mics during lecture which turned out to be quite funny due to certain... erm. terms used. hahaha. oh well.
went to sent the church guitar after school for servicing. Chris tagged along (thanks) and we spent the rest of the afternoon playing free demo games at Funan, and just walking around. haha.
after taking back the guitar, went off to Causeway Point to meet family for a belated birthday dinner for mom. Jack's Place. i dont need to elaborate anymore :D

haha. CIP today was fun. spent the whole day out with classmates who are awesome people.
me and Chris wanted to perform today but couldn't in the end cos of the rain. ugh... we've been practicing that song for like 2 events already and both got cancelled in the end. what's this sia. -.-
oh well. not much choice eh. hope we get to perform on the 17th then.
also, it was a bad move to wear skinny jeans today. hot + black. lol. a lot of classmates were surprised to see me in them. hahaha. the first reaction is always *GASP* SAMUEL! SKINNY JEANS! O.O that hard to believe meh...

went back after that with the red liners, and we ended up taking EVERY SINGLE LINE on the train. i repeat. EVERY SINGLE LINE. like whut. -.- from tiong bahru, go outram, then change to purple line to serangoon, changed to circle line to bishan then finally took red line back to Admiralty. and its all because some of them nv sat the circle line before, which was not much different from the purple line O.O...

haha, today was alright. woke up to an sms saying that James Ang was sick today, so effectively didn't have sch today because ONOW was cancelled, keys too cos Audrey is overseas, and James' lesson was supposed to be our last and only lesson. hahaha \o/
met a few classmates and went off to alot of stations, i'm too lazy to go into detail. hahaha. i didn't do much though, was just going around accompanying them. haha.
but it was a good day overall (:
